FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Sun Smart
Please be prepared for Term 4 and look for your child's school hat during the school holidays. Hats will become compulsory again in Term 4. Children must only wear the approved school hats. No other hats are permitted.
Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th will be reminder days. After that, children without approved school hats will be required to sit in the shade.
Family/Teacher Meetings
It was pleasing to see so many families taking advantage of this opportunity to discuss their child's learning with their Teacher. Student outcomes improve when school and home work in partnership. This was also an opportunity to discuss class placements for 2025. For those families that were unable to attend a Family/Teacher meeting, we have sent out a form through Schoolzine. It is the same form used during Family/Teacher.
Breakfast Club
I usually start the toasters up at 8:20am and open the doors at 8:25am. We do shut off new people coming in at 8:50am. This allows us to feed those still lined up and clean up before the room is used for Wellbeing Lessons. As always, if students come to school after 8:50am and have missed breakfast they can speak to their class Teacher or the office and we can organise some toast.
Holidays
This term seems to have flown by. I hope families have a safe and enjoyable school holidays, hopefully some improved weather. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday October 14.

DRAMA
What is Drama?
Drama is a form of the Arts. The Arts enable learners to develop a strong sense of identity, learn through their creativity and connect to others when communicating ideas. During grades 3-6, students develop an understanding of character through voice and movement, use language and ideas to create dramatic action, and give meaning and shape to their drama using the conventions of story.
